At Taco Ocho, we have six quesadillas on the menu daily, from classics like Beef & Chicken fajita to vegan favorites like our Sweet Potatoes & Black Bean Quesadilla.

If you ever have your fill of our quesadillas and want to take home those leftovers, here are the best ways to reheat them.

How to Store Leftover Quesadillas

Quesadillas like the ones at Taco Ocho are too good to let them go to waste! You might be feeling some trepidation about storing, but worry not! These savory delights can be stored and reheated to almost the same quality with a bit of extra care.

After bringing home the quesadillas in your Take-out container, wrap the leftover quesadilla tightly in plastic wrap or place it in an airtight container. Quesadillas can be stored in the refrigerator for a day or two.

How to Reheat Leftover Quesadillas

You may not have all the bells and whistles of a commercial kitchen, like Taco Ocho, but you can still reheat your quesadilla to taste pretty good!

There are several options for how to get your meal back up to temperature, and they are all graciously easy! Choose your preferred heating method and follow these steps to have toasty leftover quesadillas in no time!

To Reheat a Quesadilla in the Oven/Toaster Oven

  1. Preheat the (toaster) oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment or non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Place the quesadilla on the baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes or until the cheese is bubbling.

To Reheat a Quesadilla on the Stovetop

  1. Place a medium-sized pan over medium-low heat. Spray the pan lightly with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Add the quesadilla to the pan and cover loosely. Allow each side to cook until golden brown or about 2-3 minutes. The quesadilla is done when the exterior is lightly crispy.

To Reheat a Quesadilla in the Air Fryer

  1. Set the air fryer temperature to 350°F and spray the basket lightly with non-stick cooking spray.

  2. Place the quesadilla in the basket and cook for 5 minutes. Flip the quesadilla and return it to the air fryer for an additional 5 minutes.
